What to expect at a Hopscotch Circus school holiday program:

Make some new friends, learn new tricks and make memories that you will never forget!

You'll learn skills in a number of areas:

juggling scarves, balls and clubs

- hula hoops

- poi

- flower sticks

- spinning plates

- skipping (solo and group)

- basic tumbling (animal movement, cartwheels and handstands)
- drama, skill building and team games

Classes are a mixture of:

- structured learning of new circus skills and structured games with rules

- unstructured play and unstructured exploration / creation of circus skills

- a mixture of both where students might add or change the rules to a game that we've played before or adapt skills to create new ones.

Our workshops encourage kids to try new things, work hard, have fun, discover new talents and help others!

Remember to bring: A drink bottle, a healthy snack and comfy clothes to move in.

I'd like to book my child into the following dates:
My two primary school aged kids have started circus with Katy and are loving it. The class is very focussed on fun, while at the same time Katy has a great developmental approach that means the kids are practicing at their level of capability and always growing their skills. She has a lovely style and always makes the kids feel heard and ensures they are having fun, recognising their creativity while keeping them focussed on the task/game at hand.
I would highly recommend this program.
